Jam-packed, 6-day Māori Theatre workshops integrated with Māori mindfulness practices, acting, dance, haka and waiata with some of Aotearoa’s finest tutors. Each wānanga will end with an epic showcase performance

weaving tradition with contemporary mahi toi celebrating rangatahi Māori realities and Tauranga Moana pūrakau.

 

An exciting collaboration with Ahipoutu Collective (formerly Moana Moko Creative Natives), these wānanga provide opportunities for Tauranga Moana rangatahi (12-25 years) to fully realise their aspirations in the performing arts, building vital skills and techniques to tell our Māori stories authentically.
