ESCAPING [a gay exposé about living, loving, losing and learning]
ft. Adam Burrell (he/him) / Ms. Adena Delights (she/they), through monologue, poetry, live-singing and of course drag with an inescapable lip-synch or two.
Adam Burrell is of Samoan descent and was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. He is a highly regarded and experienced actor, singer and live entertainer with over 20 years’ of professional experience. A career highlight is his performance in K’Rd Strip – A Place to Stand, an original, devised Māori contemporary dance musical which toured to Edinburgh International Fringe Festival in 2015.
He has performed in over 20 professional children’s theatre productions, including several nationwide tours with Capital E. Some other theatre highlights include last years’ King Lear (ATC), An Act of God (Centrepoint),the award-winning play,The Incredible and Glorious World according to The Fitzroys and City of One Hundred Lovers. Adam has had numerous guest roles on television (including Shortland Street), and has extensive experience in the world of drag entertainment where the formidable Ms Adena Delights is known for her quick wit, raucous laugh, and flamboyantly precise performances.

Brady Peeti (Te Atihaunui-a-Pāpārangi, Ngāti Maniapoto) is a pioneering award-winning actress. She shattered stereotypes as the first trans actress to play Lucy Harris, the lead female role in Jekyll & Hyde at the Hayes Theatre in Sydney, Australia.
Since graduating from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art, Brady has performed across Aotearoa and Australia. Other theatre highlights include Little Shop of Horrors (Court Theatre), Fever: Return of the Ula (Fine Fatale), Black Ties (ILBIJERRI Theatre Company & Te Rēhia Theatre Company), Astroman (ATC), The Wizard of Ōtāhuhu, Larger Than Life, and the recent highly-acclaimed show Kōpū (Te Pou Theatre) that is a proud and unapologetic celebration of wāhinetanga in all its forms.
Brady has appeared in the feature film GURL as well as television series’ Ahikāroa and TransGenerations.

ft. Vincent Farane (he/him) exposing himself through multiple dance forms.
Of Samoan descent, Vincent Farane graduated from the Manukau Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Performing Arts) in 2019, and works as an actor, dancer and singer. He has performed throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America with various dance groups, including the recent USA Tour with the highly-acclaimed Black Grace Dance Company.
Vincent’s acting credits include George in the award-winning play Little Black Bitch, and Sam in Uninvited (Over My Dead Body series, Tuatara Collective).
Vincent is also an accomplished choreographer.
