Tuhia tō waiata ki tō rae

A community sing-along experience that brings people together to sing and celebrate Te Reo Māori.

With some special local guest singers alongside the Tuatara Collective Choir, this is a free event curated by Jason Te Mete (Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāi Te Rangi).

Overlooking the harbour, the air will be filled with waiata, including Tū Tira Mai Ngā Iwi, Ngā Iwi E, Poi E and He Putiputi Koe. We’ll provide the words, you just need to bring a blanket and your voice!
